The Halmosi family has owned the building for over 30 years. During this time, it has been expanded and renovated multiple times. The four-star hotel, located on the bank of the Sugovica River, offers 41 rooms and a wellness facility for its guests. On weekdays, it primarily hosts business travellers, while on weekends and during the peak season, it attracts families and recreational guests.
Duna Wellness Hotel and its staff have faced numerous challenges with their previous property management system, which, while popular at the time, presented several shortcomings: The outdated software rarely received updates, offered limited reporting capabilities, and lacked satisfactory customer support. Additionally, the system was hosted on a local server, which led to a catastrophic data loss incident where all reservations were erased due to a technical error. Invoicing, especially for group reservations, is simplified with SabeeApp. Refund invoices are easily accessible and can be completed with the new Folio. Reporting capabilities are vital for the operation of Duna Wellness Hotel, and SabeeApp aids in monitoring guest traffic to support informed decision-making.
The system allows for easy handling and personalisation of staff access based on roles. Different hotel departments communicate efficiently, eliminating confusion and ensuring a continuous flow of information.
