After connection to Expedia
After the very first time of synchronization to Expedia, your prices and availability will be over-written with information that you have in Sabee.
You won't be able to manually control the availability in the extranet of Expedia and it won't be possible to modify prices directly in the extranet. Those changes will need to be made in your Sabee account: for availability - in the calendar; for prices - in the rate plans, linked to Expedia.
What will be synced from Sabee to Expedia
- Availabilities
- Prices, that are linked to Expedia
- Minimum night restrictions from the rate plans, that are linked to Expedia
- Open/Close rates and CTA/CTD
What will be received from Expedia
- From Expedia you will receive new reservations. Most of the guest details will come in as well. Basically what you can find in the detailed page of reservation inside of Expedia's extranet, will also appear on the detailed page of reservation in Sabee.
- Payment method - you can have 2 options: Expedia collect and Hotel Collect.
If the reservation is made with Expedia collect option than Expedia will collect the payment from the guest and later on you will need to claim payment from Expedia either by sending the request of payment or claiming it with Expedia virtual card. (Please note that in case of Expedia collect payments the CVV code of the Expedia virtual card is not being sent to SabeeApp.) In such cases, when the reservation arrives to Sabee, it will have NET price - the amount that already exclude commissions of Expedia.
In case of Hotel collect method - reservation will have a full (GROSS) price which still includes Expedia's commission. This means that you will collect the total amount from the guest and later on, based on the commission agreement, you will need to pay commissions to Expedia.
