Aim of the Report: This report helps you track reservations based on their source (sales channel) and monitor the commission amounts associated with these reservations. It also provides insights into booking distributions by partner type, offering a more detailed view of your booking channels.
The report is based on the Folio table, meaning it calculates using the folio items from this table. The only folio item that is not considered in the report is the city tax.
Depending on the settings selected under Settings / General Settings / Other Settings, the report will display values as either NET or GROSS.

-
Pie Charts:
-
Sales Mix by Partner Type:
A new pie chart, "Sales mix - reservation distribution by partner type," has been added to the report. This chart visualises the distribution of bookings across different partner types, offering insights into which channels are driving reservations. The chart is based on the reservation statuses selected in the Status filter.
- Bookings by channels (Confirmed, Option)
- Bookings by channels (No show, Cancelled)
-
The pie charts display the distribution of revenue by partners.
2. Tables:
-
- Bookings by Channels (Confirmed, Option): Displays confirmed and option status bookings.
- Bookings by Channels (Cancelled, No-show): Displays cancelled and no-show status bookings.
Tables include the following columns:
- Partner Name: The name of the partner assigned to the reservation.
- Partner Type: Indicates the partner type (e.g., Channel Manager, Direct Sales), providing visibility into how bookings are distributed by different partner types, such as channel manager connections, direct sales, etc. If no partner is assigned, this column will be empty, and the Partner name will display as "No partner assigned."
- Number of Bookings: The number of confirmed, option, cancelled, or no-show status bookings associated with a specific partner.
- Number of Nights: The total room nights for each partner.

- Detailed View: Click on a partner name to view detailed reservations and a popup summary showing number of guests, room nights, sum price, and commission for each booking associated with the partner.
Export and Printing Options
- Excel Export: The report can be exported to an Excel file for further analysis. The Partner Type column will appear in the export, but pie charts are not included.

Important Notes
- No Partner Assigned: If a reservation has no partner assigned, the Partner Name will display "No partner assigned," and the Partner Type column will remain empty. The Sales mix chart will still show the corresponding "No partner assigned" slice.
- Chart Data: The Sales mix pie chart is always based on the total data retrieved based on the header filters and is not linked to the specific rows visible in the tables.
- No Selection in Status Filter: If no reservation status is selected in the Status filter, the report will display no results, and the pie charts will not be shown.
This updated report offers a comprehensive view of bookings and commissions by partner type, providing greater flexibility and insights for better decision-making.
