Cancellation due to invalid credit card

Booking.com gives the possibility to report invalid credit cards and cancel the reservation if it remains invalid.

You can mark a credit card as invalid up until 00:00 hours local time of check-in date by clicking on the Reservation details/Edit section.

Once you have done so the guest has 24 hours of updating CC details for a maximum of 1 time before you would cancel the reservation. 

When a reservation is made within 48 hours of check-in, a guest is given 12 hours to update their credit card.

Guest is always given a minimum of 1 hour to update CC details. If a reservation is reported as invalid at 4PM on check-in date, you cannot immediately cancel the reservation and need to wait for an hour.

If the guest doesn't update or updates the CC in the given timeframe, but it's still not correct you can press the Cancel reservation due to invalid credit card button, which will cancel the reservation not only in SabeeApp but also on Booking.com as well.

You can cancel invalid-cc bookings until 3p.m on the day of arrival.
