      Commission Management With Airbnb

      Managing Airbnb Pricing Settings in SabeeApp

      Based on customer requests, we have implemented new features related to Airbnb pricing settings in SabeeApp. These enhancements provide greater flexibility in displaying reservation amounts with or without commission (effective as of March, 2025)

      Channel Configuration Page

      A new setting has been introduced on the Airbnb channel configuration page:

      By default, all Airbnb reservations in SabeeApp display the amount received by the accomodation provider, excluding the commission.

      If this setting is enabled, the prices in SabeeApp will reflect the total amount paid by the guest on Airbnb, including the commission.

      Example:

      • The guest paid 170 € on Airbnb → this will be shown as the price if the toggle is ON.
      • The host received 144.5 € → this will be shown as the price if the toggle is OFF.
      • The Airbnb commission was 25.5 €.

      Important: This setting can only be changed once. If further changes are needed, please reach out to your account manager as SabeeApp.

      Reservation Page Updates

      Once the setting is enabled, new Airbnb reservations will be saved including the commission.

      Important Notes:

      • This only applies to new reservations. Past reservations will not be updated.
      • The commission will not be a separate folio item.
      • The total price will be divided into the guest nights, including the commission.

      If the price includes commission, a label will appear in the Booked Price section:

      Activity Log Enhancements

      The Activity Log will also indicate whether a reservation price includes commission.

      This feature is particularly useful in scenarios such as:

      1. A reservation was initially received when the toggle was not enabled.
      2. The provider later enabled the toggle.
      3. Airbnb sent an update regarding the reservation, causing a price adjustment to reflect the commission.

      By leveraging these new settings, providers can choose how they want to view Airbnb reservation pricing in SabeeApp, ensuring better financial tracking and reporting.
