HESTA is the Federal Statistical Office of Switzerland which requires properties to send some data to their systems monthly. This can be done manually or if you use a property management system, HESTA is accepting it from these PMS.
SabeeApp can send the report with the ncessary information automatically to HESTA. You don't have to click anything at all.
Let's see how to get this working:
Connection to HESTA
Please make sure to open the Settings / Marketplace menu of your SabeeApp account. Navigate to the HESTA marketplace item and click on the green Initiate connection button
We will show you the connection page.
If you already have a BUR number, please make sure to tick the box on the connection page. (1.)
If you haven't registered for a BUR number you can click the link and you are redirected to the contact page of HESTA. (2)
If you have ticked the box for the "I already have BUR number, then we will show you the next steps:
Please add your BUR number (3.) and add the day when you have to send the information to HESTA each month.
When you are done with this two steps, click the Initiate connection (5.) button.
Right after this, you are done. SabeeApp from now on will forward all the necessary information on you property to HESTA automatically each month. No further steps are required from you.
What information is sent?
We are sending the following information to HESTA about your property.
- Owner's name
- Owner's phone number
- Owner's email address
- Property country
- Number of rooms
- Number of beds
- Number of days the establishment was open in the reference month
- Next closing period of the establishment (start date and end date) = when the full accommodation is blocked with calendar blocks (not with rate plan closure).
- Total number of arrivals in the reference month.
- Total number of overnight-stays in the reference month.
- Total number of occupied rooms in the reference month.
- Average income /guest/night (only accommodation, without breakfast, excl. VAT) in the reference month. The information is forwared always in Swiss Franks to 6 decimals regardless of the default currency of your SabeeApp account.
Tracking previous exports
After the first successful export we will show a table under the marketplace item's configuration settings.
Here you can keep track of your exports sent to HESTA and you can also download them in XML format. To do this click on the Download report link on the right.
