Connection to HotelBeds

How to Connect Your Property to Hotelbeds via SabeeApp

To successfully integrate your property with Hotelbeds using SabeeApp as your Channel Manager, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Select SabeeApp as the Channel Manager in Hotelbeds (MaxiRoom)

Log in to the HotelBeds extranet (MaxiRoom) and select SabeeApp as your Channel Manager partner. This step is essential for establishing the connection.

If you cannot find the Channel Manager menu in the extranet, be sure to contact HotelBeds, as your designated contact person there can enable this feature for you—we do not have the ability to do so.


Step 2: Complete the Required Form

Navigate to Distribution > Channel Manager > List of All Channels > Hotelbeds in SabeeApp. Click on "Connect to channel", then fill out the form with the necessary details.

Important: HSI Username (Hotel Supplier Interface)

  • The HSI username (also known as the XML username) is required for the integration.

  • This is not the same username used for logging into the Hotelbeds extranet.

  • You can typically find the HSI username in the API credentials section of your extranet.

  • If you don’t have access to this, contact Hotelbeds support to retrieve the HSI username and password.


Step 3: Provide the Necessary Information in the Configuration Table

In the configuration table, you need to fill in the following information. The fields listed here must be completed using the data available in the HotelBeds extranet.

(If you do not know the Room Type ID, simply enter a "-" symbol.)

✅ Room Type Name (as it appears in SabeeApp)

✅ Hotel ID (provided by Hotelbeds)

✅ Room Type Name in this Channel (as it appears in Hotelbeds)

✅ Room Type ID in this Channel (to ensure correct mapping, provide the exact Room Type ID as it appears in Hotelbeds)


After successfully completing the table, save the data. This will send your connection request to your Account Manager, who will then begin the connection process.


Step 4: Identify the Correct Rate Plans

Send an email to your SabeeApp account manager, clearly stating which rate plans you want to connect. This ensures proper synchronization between SabeeApp and HotelBeds.


Step 5: Handling FIT Rates (If Applicable)

Make sure that you do not have a FIT contract with HotelBeds, as this type of contract does not allow the Channel Manager to modify prices and settings.

If you want to connect to HotelBeds via the Channel Manager, you can only do so with a contract type other than FIT.

If your property does have FIT rates, it is important to determine which type applies to you. This is crucial because, for the two different types, only the following data can be synchronized with the HotelBeds channel:

🟢Hotelbeds manages everything:

    • Only reservations and modifications are received.

    🟢 SabeeApp sends only inventory:

    • Prices and restrictions are managed by Hotelbeds.


Step 6: Confirm the Correct Occupancy Mapping

In some cases, the maximum occupancy of the room is not the base rate that properties would like to send to Hotelbeds.

  • Example: A Superior Room for 4 guests might need to be mapped to the 2-person rate.

  • Please inform your SabeeApp account manager about the occupancy you would like to connect.


Step 7: Finalising the Connection

Once we have all the necessary information, we will process the connection and notify you once it is complete. 

🔹From the moment when synchronisation is live, the following information will be synced:

✅ Availability
✅ Prices
✅ Min Stay Restrictions
✅ New reservations, made in HotelBeds, will arrive to your SabeeApp calendar.

⚠️ Credit card data will not be included when receiving reservations from HotelBeds to SabeeApp.
