      Daily Performance Report

      📊 Report Summary

      1️⃣ General Information

      This report is designed to support financial decision-making by analyzing the property’s key performance indicators.

      • The data is based on Folio items and does not include payments or invoices related to specific reservations.
      • The report considers the following room type statuses:
        • 🏨 Room
        • 🏢 Conference Room
        • 🚗 Garage
        • ⚙️ Technical

      2️⃣ Filtering Options

      📅 Datepicker

      • Choose from predefined options or select a custom date range (past or future).
      • Maximum selectable interval: 32 days.

      🔲 Exclude Blocked Dates (Only Occupancy)

      • Blocked dates are always displayed in the report (Table / Total Room Nights / Blocked Room Nights row).
      • If this checkbox is not ticked, blocked room nights are included in the occupancy calculation.

      Example:

      • Property has 10 rooms, but 1 room is under refurbishment on March 30, 2024.
      • 5 rooms are booked for that night.
      Scenario Calculation Occupancy %
      Checkbox ticked (default) 5 ÷ 10 × 100 50%
      Checkbox not ticked 5 ÷ 9 × 100 55.56%

       

      ⚖️ ADR Settings

      Filter using two options:

      1. 🏠 Accommodation Revenue Only (default)
      2. 🛎️ Service Revenue Included
        • Selecting this option enables an additional Service Categories filter to specify which service revenue should be included in ADR calculations.
        • Note: The Service Category filter affects only the ADR metric.

      📌 Reservation Status

      Filter by one or more of the following:

      • ✅ Confirmed
      • ⏳ Option
      • ❌ Cancelled
      • 🚫 No-Show

      (All options are selected by default, but not all metrics include Cancelled and No-Show reservations. Check individual metric descriptions for details.)

      🏢 Room Filter

      View performance data for:

      • The entire property
      • Individual room types

      3️⃣ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

      The report includes four key widgets that provide a quick performance overview:

      💰 Total Revenue

      • Includes room revenue and ancillary service revenue for the selected period.

      📈 Occupancy (%)

      • Formula: (Total booked room nights ÷ Available room nights) × 100
      • Includes Confirmed and Option room nights only.
      • Cancelled and No-Show reservations are not counted.

      📊 Average Daily Rate (ADR)

      • 🏠 Accommodation Revenue Only:
        • Formula: Accommodation Revenue ÷ Confirmed + Option Room Nights
        • Example:
          • Period: March 1–8, 2024
          • Accommodation Revenue: €2,874
          • Confirmed & Option Room Nights: 54
          • ADR = €2,874 ÷ 54 = €53.22
      • 🛎️ Service Revenue Included:

        • Formula: Total Revenue ÷ Confirmed + Option Room Nights

        • Example:

          • Period: March 1–8, 2024
          • Total Revenue: €5,718
          • Confirmed & Option Room Nights: 54
          • ADR = €5,718 ÷ 54 = €105.89

          (Note: For Cancelled and No-Show reservations, the ADR metric considers cancellation and no-show fees, if applied. If cancellation and no-show fees are enabled in Settings → Property Policies → Cancellation and Payment Policies, they are automatically applied based on the policy. If not, manually adding a no-show fee as a service will count as service revenue in the summary.

      📉 Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR)

      • Formula: Accommodation Revenue ÷ Total Room Nights
      • Example:
        • Period: March 1–8, 2024
        • Accommodation Revenue: €2,874
        • Total Room Nights: 128
        • RevPAR = €2,874 ÷ 128 = €22.45

      4️⃣ Report Table Breakdown

      A "Double Arrow" feature has been added to the date row, allowing users to expand all categories at once.

      📋 Key Metrics in the Table

      🛏️ Number of Guest Nights

      • Displays Confirmed and Option guest nights, including adults, children, and infants.
      • Cancelled and No-Show guest nights are not included.

      📊 Total Revenue per Available Room (TRevPAR)

      • Formula: (Accommodation + Service Revenue) ÷ Total Room Nights
      • Example:
        • Date: March 1, 2024
        • Accommodation Revenue: €500
        • Service Revenue: €217
        • Total Room Nights: 16
        • TRevPAR = (€500 + €217) ÷ 16 = €44.81

      🛏️ Total Room Nights (6 Subcategories)

      • ✅ Confirmed Nights
      • ⏳ Option Room Nights
      • 🏠 Available Room Nights
      • 🔲 Blocked Room Nights
      • ❌ Cancelled Room Nights
      • 🚫 No-Show Room Nights

      (Note: The report considers the room creation date when calculating available rooms.)

      💰 Total Revenue Breakdown

      Two main categories with subcategories:

      1. 🏠 Accommodation Revenue
        • Confirmed Room Price
        • Cancelled Room Price
        • No-Show Room Price
        • Option Room Price
      2. 🛎️ All Services Revenue
        • Custom (e.g., Breakfast, Minibar, etc.)

      🔻 Discounts

      • Summarizes negative service values in the Folio table.
      • Affected by the status filter (e.g., if "Option" is unchecked, option-related discounts won’t be included).

      🏷️ Coupons

      • Summarizes negative coupon values in the Folio table.
      • Affected by the status filter, similar to Discounts.

      💳 Commission

      • Displays commission amounts related to bookings.
      • Affected by the status filter.

      📌 Summary Calculation

      Formula:

      Total Revenue - Discounts - Coupons - Commission

      ⚖️ Gross vs. Net Values

      All numbers displayed in the report are either Gross (tax included) or Net (tax excluded) based on your settings:

      • Path: Settings → General Settings → Other Settings → "Amounts displayed in Reports"
