Google Hotel Ads - Free Booking Link connection
In this help article we will guide you through the connection steps to Google Hotel Ads, which is one of the top trending accomodation metasearch sites on the market.
It is important that Google Hotel Ads is not an OTA (where guests can book) but it is a metasearch site which helps its users find the best available prices for a certain place. It is comparing their prices on the different sales channels where the property is advertising. With the connection to SabeeApp, now you will have the chance to list your Internet Booking Engine as well which will generate you more direct bookings. Therefore room types and rate plans which are available in your Internet Booking Engine will be shown in Google Hotel Ads.
Minimum requirements before the connection
You will have to meet some requirements before you could connect to Google Hotel Ads:
- You will have to open a Google My Business account.
- The Property Name, Address, Phone and Website added in your Google My Business account should be the same as in your SabeeApp account's Settings / Property details menu.
- Vacation and Apartment Rentals are currently not elegible to connect to Google Hotel Ads. It is a requirement by Google to set up Hotel as property type.
Connection steps
If you would like to start the connection, please make sure to go to Settings / Marketplace and look for Google Hotel Ads - Free booking link item. Please make sure to click on it to open the configuration page.
All you have to do here is to click on the Initiate connection with Google Hotel Ads - Free booking link button.
After the marketplace item's stauts is set to requested and our customer support team will receive a notification automatically and will do the necessary steps to connect your Google Hotel Ads and SabeeApp accounts. Once the connection is ready we will contact you via email. Please bare in mind that it can take up to 72 hours until the connection is successfully established as Google needs this time to pair your accounts.
It is important if you are not using SabeeApp's Internet Booking Engine then the Google Hotel Ads connection cannot be activated.
