We wanted to give you the option to monitor if everything is working correctly with the GuestAdvisor applications, so we created a Health Check tool for you. With this now you will have full control over the possible issues and solve them before your guests meet them.
We included to tools for it. The first one is a Reservation check tool and the second one is a general Health check tool. Lets see how they can help you:
Reservation check
With the reservation check you can see if a guest is eligible for online check-in and - if you are using Assa Abloy or NUKI locks - for the Smart room access. All you have to do is to copy the Reservation Code from the guest's reservation page and paste it in the field, and then hit Check.
In a new tab we will show you if we detect any error for these two features. If everything is set up correctly, we will show that the features are available.
In case of the Online check-in the most common issues are the following:
Check-in legal policy is missing
The reservation does not have cancellation and payment policies assigned and you do not have the general policy, check-in/check-out policy, Group policy configured in SabeeApp.
Reservation is not in the check-in window
Under GuestAdvisor Tools / Settings menu you can set up a check-in window for the reservations. This can be 0-30 days. If you see this error this means that the reservation has not reached this limit yet.
Reservation is not confirmed
The reservation the guest is trying to check-in online is not confirmed. Most probably it is of an optional reservation. Please confirm the reservation from the detailed reservation page before sending out the GAT email manually.
For the Smart Room access, the most common issues are the following:
Reservation has no Checked-in status yet.
The guests have not completed the online check-in yet.
No PIN verification yet.
Smart Room access requires extra verification. A code is sent out to the Booker's email address which they have to provide as an extra verification.
Health check tool
We are listing 3 or 4 sections here depending on if you are using Smart locks or not.
These are going to be the following: General settings, Online check-in, Online check-out and NUKI / Assa Abloy smarlocks.
If everything is configured correctly in your account, then we will show the sections with green ticks, just like this one:
If there is anything wrong, we will list you in the errors list which can be a missing settings / translation, policies not configured or something wrong with your smart locks.
Just click on the Resolve link next to the error, which will redirect you to the relevant menu, where you can fix it. After correcting all the errors, the section will be marked with green.
