GuestAdvisor's Online check-out is a complementary tool which is currently available for GuestAdvisor Mobile only.
This tool basically helps you to see when your guests are planning to leave their room and also helps the guest to receive relevant information about when and how to leave their room and if there is any amount due left for their reservation they should complete the payment for it.
Also if the guest checks-in via the mobile app and completes the online check-out as well by filling their departure date, the PMS will set the reservations status to checked-out automatically when the given time arrives.
How to activate the online check-out?
There are three things currently you have to complete in order to activate the online check-out functionality for the GuestAdvisor Mobile.
1. Activate the Online check-out setting under the GuestAdvisor Tools / Settings menu.
2. Fill the How to leave your room content page with relevant information in the GuestAdvisor Tools / Menu and Content menu. Here you will have to provide relevant information about check-out.
It is important that you cannot delete or modify the place of this content page. It will be always placed to the top of the menu when it becomes available for the guests.
How the Online check-out tool works?
If the latest check-out time of a reservation is within 24 hours then we will show the following button and text on the main screen of the GAT Mobile application.
If the guest enabled push notification sending for the application, then we will send a push notification also about the Online check-out to the guest's mobile phone.
By clicking on the Set check-out time the guest can access the online check-out window. Here we will show the following information.
- By clicking on the arrows next to the clock they can set up their estimated check-out time.
- If there is a NUKI or AssaAbloy Smart Lock connected to the room, we will inform the guest that their smart lock key validity will expire 15 minutes after the set check-out time. If there is no smart lock connected to the room, then this section is not shown.
- If there is any amount due left according to their SabeeApp reservation, we will remind them to visit the front office to complete the payment. If there is no amount due left, this section is not shown.
If they set their desired check-out time they should click on the green Confirm check-out time button.
After that we are redirecting them to the following page, where they have to options:

2. By tapping on the close button the guest is redirected to the main menu of the application.
On the main page of the application we will display the selected check-out time. We are also showing the Modify your check-out time button and the How to leave your room buttons on the top.
It is possible to modify the desired check-out time as many times as the guest would like to but they can select it based on your Latest possible check-out time defined in the Settings / Property policies / Other policies. Times can be selected every 30 minutes.
IMPORTANT
If the estimated check-out time has already been provided in any ways, the Modify check-out time will appear by default when the reservation gets to the 24 hours window.
Your staff members set a custom check-out time from the reservation page. This will appear in he application for the guest, but they are still able to change it.
We are monitoring when the estimated check-out time has been provided by the guest and creating logs in the change log of the reservation. Please see some examples here:
