How to add a new user

New users can be added only by the Owner of the SabeeApp account and operators, who were given the right to create access for other users.

A new user can be added by the following steps:
In the upper right corner of the screen, you will find the user, who has logged in to SabeeApp.

When you click on it the "Accounts", a new window will open where you will have the possibility to "Add new" account.


When you add a new user, you can define the role of the person and set the permissions for it. Let me give you a few examples: there is the operator to whom you can add as many different options as you wish to specify what s/he can see or set or adjust. These settings can be changed anytime, either by adding new permissions, or deleting existing ones.

 


Roles:

Operator - suggested for any (new) colleague who has to have access to many different options, reservations, prices, reports, etc. They can add new users and permissions or edit/delete existing ones, except for the owner's account. Visitor - it is suggested to create for apartment owners to let them know about the occupancy of their apartments. For further information, please click here. Housekeeping - recommended for any members of the HK in order for them to see which rooms/apartments should be cleaned. These users can also make changes in the status of the rooms: if the cleaning is finished they can change the status from red (dirty) to green (clean). Bear in mind, however, that these users have no access to other menus. Housekeeping without login - also suggested for HK members. It does not require a username and password. You can create this account for your HK members to be able to assign tasks. For example, you can create a to-do list for the given housekeeper and print the assignment sheet for them. We are working on the development of an app that could be accessed by the HK team through smartphones. With the help of the app, you will be able to check how much time they spend cleaning and you would obtain reports about the average time spent in a room.

You can also add the "Account management" option. With that, you give this account permission to manage other accounts and their permissions. If you tick "View user activity" you track every user activity. "Read only user" and "Disable deletion of reservation" are restrictions for a given account: e.g. a user has the permission to track all changes but cannot make any changes if "Read-only" is ticked. You can also choose among the permissions regarding the access to different companies or branches of the same property, also known as multi-property/sibling accounts. Let me give you an example. If an owner has three hotels and s/he is hiring a receptionist for Hotel 1, the new receptionist might not be given permission to the information related to Hotel 2 and 3.

After adding a new user there is a form to complete: First name, Last name and email are compulsory, the others are optional.
When you save it the system sends you a verification email, please got your email and click on the link in it.

After verifying the email, there will be a second email with the username and password, having these, the new user now can log in to SabeeApp.

If you did not receive an email, please check if you have typed the email address correctly.

Please note, that sometimes it might take 5 minutes until you receive our email.
In gmail accounts sometimes it might be found in the "Promotions", instead of the "Inbox".
The verification link can be used only once, after clicking on it, the email address will be verified.

To sum:

The owner and the operator with sufficient permissions can add/remove new users.
You just need to bear in mind that ONLY the owner of Sabee account can create new users at the beginning, until she/he creates advanced user who can also add new Sabee accounts. However, this advanced operator will not be able to re-write the Owner's credentials as well as his own permissions that were given him by the owner.

Select the role of the new user, complete his/her name, email address, than adjust the permissions of the new user - by ticking/marking the brackets.
