How to connect to the Spanish Police Guest Book?

Due to the laws of the Spanish Government, all properties are obliged to send data to to the Police Guest Book about their guest. This is avaialble via PMS softwares as well so we can help you with this if you establish the connection with the Guest Book's system call Servlet.

How to connect to the Guest Book?

You can only connect to the Spanish Police Guest Book if you have set up Spain as country in the Settings / Property Details menu. Please also make sure that you provided your Company name correctly in the Settings / Company details menu. These are the most important prerequisites in order to establish a successful connection.

To start the connection process, you will have to go to the Settings / Marketplace menu of your SabeeApp account. In this menu, please look for the Spanish Police Guest Book marketplace item and click on it.

If you have the tab open, please provide your Hotel ID and password which you are using to log in to the Spanish Police Guest Book management website.

If you have pasted the necessary information, simply hit the Save button.

What will happen after the connection?

In order to successfully complete the data transfer to the Spanish Police Guest Book, you will have to collect all the following information about your guests:

• Firstname
• Middle name (compulsory only if guest country/nationality is Spain)
• Lastname
• Date of birth
• Gender
• ID type
• ID number
• Date of issue of the ID
• Country

After you have collected all this information about your guests and onboarded the reservation in your SabeeApp account, then there is nothing more you have to do. SabeeApp will send the information about your guests to Spanish Guest Book's system. The transfer happens the next day at midday according to Madrid time.

Every morning at 7:00 according to the same time zone there is a checker running to identify if you have collected all your information about your guests. If there is something missing, we will notify you via email, so you can check and fill all the necessary information. You can also use the Spanish Police Guest Book report where you can find all the sent information and all the missing information.
