iCal synchronisation based channels
There are some channels which are using the iCal synchronisation method. This type of connection is a one-way connection, which means that by inserting the iCal link from your SabeeApp account ( Distribution / iCal sync menu ) to the channel's platform, we will be able to send only availability data to this particular channel.
This means that the price information is not synchronised at all from your SabeeApp account, so please make sure you upload the correct prices in the extranet of these channels.
The one-way connection also means that the reservations which are made on these channels won't come trough automatically and won't be placed automatically to your SabeeApp calendar, you need to upload them manually!!
Please follow these steps in order to get connected to any iCal based channel:
- Open your SabeeApp account and go to Distribution / iCal sync menu
- Select the channel in the left side menu
- Copy the iCal link and insert it to the corresponding part of the channel's extranet
- Slide the "Active" button to green position. With this step the synchronisation of the availabilities will start.
In the column "lastsync" you will be able to check when was the last time when the availability information was retrieved by the channel. It depends on the channel, but in average , every 2 hours it is being done.
