In some cases it is important to know how many services you have sold. Especially when you have a limited stock on these services.
SabeeApp's service inventory manager currently is capable of monitoring the service stock for services which are not compulsory for rates and not included in the accomodation price. Also they should be set up as fix priced / room / daily services. Such as a parking place or a garage which the guest uses every day of their reservation and can be booked as extra.
Setting up stock management for a service
On the service's profile you will see a new section if you set up a service which is fix priced / room / daily type. After activating the slider of This service has stock, you can set up a Total available quantity. This is going to be the maximum number of services which can be sold in total.
Later on, it is possbile to change this number. In case of reducing it, the system checks if there is any date when there are more services sold than the new stock and shows this in a popup message.
After that, you can decide if you would like to see this service on the calendar chart or not. Please see below how it will look like for you if you publish it for your calendar chart.
IMPORTANT: Currently only one service can be added to the calendar chart!
How the stock management works?
Manually added reservations
When adding this service manually we are checking if the service is still available or not. If it is available we add it for that day. If the service is not available we mark it with red.
If you click on Add, then SabeeApp will show in a popup that the service will not be added to the days when the service is sold out.
If you click OK, we add the service for the dates when it is available.
IBE reservations
Until the service has enough availability, on the IBE we are showing the service as available for booking. If there is any date where the service is sold out, then it cannot be booked at all, we do not show it in the available services list.
Channel manager
As in case of compulsory or included services the stock management feature does not work. Therefore for OTA reservations we cannot handle this feature.
Booking services on GuestAdvisor Mobile and Kiosk
Services are only shown for booking in the GuestAdvisor applications if the service has available stock for the dates of the reservation.
Monitoring service inventory from the calendar view
Currently is possible to monitor the stock of one service from the calendar view. According to the settings described above, the service stock will appear in the calendar quick chart as an extra line. This will show a daily available chart for the services.
If there is any oversold service (due to stock reduction) then we show it with minus amount.
