Limitations of the GuestAdvisor Mobile app

In order for the GuestAdvisor applications to work safely and reliably, we had to introduce some limitations. Please read more about these below.

It is essential that the Smart Solutions module has to be active in your account for the following features to work. Without this, it is not possible to use the GuestAdvisor applications at all.

Limitiations of the Online check-in in case of individual reservations:

  • The reservation has to be a future arrival. Online check-in is not possible for past bookings.
  • The booking must have a confirmed status. Online check-in is not possible for Optional, Canceled or No show bookings.
  • The booking must be in a room or conference room. Online check-in is not possible in rooms with subtype of garage and technical.
  • Online check-in must be active in the GuestAdvisor Tools / Settings menu.
  • The reservation must be included in the Online check-in time window selected in the GuestAdvisor Tools / Settings menu.
  • Booking must have to be subject of cancellation and payment policy or check-in check-out policy, or group policy, or group policy.

Limitiations of the Online check-in in case of group reservations:

In addition to the above conditions, the following conditions must be met for group reservations:

  • The booker guest must be the same for all group members.

Limitations of the GuestAdvisor Smart Room access (NUKI and AssaAbloy locks):

  • In the Settings / Marketplace menu, there is an active connection with a smartlock provider (NUKI or Assa Abloy) and a smartlock is connected to the guest room.
  • This can be set in the Settings / Property policies / Other policies menu.
  • The guest's booking must have the status Onboard. (If the Auto onboard function is not active.)
  • The guest's reservation must be of a Checked-in status. (If the Auto onboard function is active.)
  • The guest must perform a PIN verification (for NUKI locks) or a Guest verification (User verification - Assa Abloy locks).If your guests wish to use this feature on more than one phone, verifications must be performed on all devices.
  • Smart Lock access is only valid until the reservation is in Checked-out status or reaches the latest possible check-out time.
  • Guests must have active internet connection on their device(s) and grant the following accesses to the GuestAdvisor application: Bluetooth, Location, Mobile internet connection / Wifi connection.
