Link rate plans to other linked rate plans (beta)

SabeeApp has implemented a new feature which allows you to create linked rate plans which link to your already linked rate plans and not only the master prices. This creates endless possibilitites to combine rate plan option on OTAs with meal plans.

This feature is currently in BETA program, so only certain properties can access it. Please make sure to apply for the beta by contacting your account manager!

How to use the feature?

You will be able to select from an extra dropdown in the create new rate plan popup, which can be used to select the "mother" rate which it links to.

 
After creating the rate plan with the new linkage type, we will show the information according to the settings on the rate plan card:  

Prices and restrictions (currently the minimum stay) will be linked to the selected rate accordingly.

Example of usage of the feature

The main idea was to support meal plans on channels. With this new feature it is now possible to add + x% and then some extra fixed price for example to the rate plan setup. Please see an example below:

It can also be possible to make a Booking.com rate plan with +x % linkage and then create a Booking.com NRF rate with -10EUR linkage to the Booking.com rate. The feature enables a wide range of combinations which provide more flexibility for you to manage pricing.

Rules for the linkage

• Linking rate plans to not linked rate plans is not possible with this version.
• Only one extra layer of rate plans can be linked to an already linked rate plan.
• These new rate plans' min stay restrictions can be linked to their mother rate, not the master price.
• For the channels which are connected via Wubook we are not able to sync these rates, so they cannot be selected from the list of channels under the rate plan settings.
