Merging guest profiles

If you see that you have multiple guest profiles for the same guest in your SabeeApp account, you can easily merge them using the Merge Profiles tool. You can access this function from the PMS / Guest list menu.

The first step is to search for guest profiles using filters or the search bar. Once you've found the profiles you're looking for, click the checkbox next to the guest's name. It is important that you can merge only 2 guest profiles at a time so that only 2 guests can be selected at a time.

In the second step, click the Merge profiles button.

This will open a new window for merging profiles. Here you can decide which profile to delete and which to update. As the main rule, the profile on the left will be deleted and the profile on the right will be kept and updated. You can swap the order or the profiles with drag and drop method or by clicking on the Swap profiles button.

Before merging the profiles, decide which information you want to copy to the guest profile on the right. You have 2 options for this. If you want to copy all the information to the right, hover the mouse over the name of the guest on the left. A check box appears to select all the data in the guest profile.

If you only want to copy certain data, click on the corresponding fields or the check box next to them. Only these will be transferred to the profile on the right during merging.

It is important that if you select a field which is filled with information and you merge the profiles, the corresponding information in the profile on the right will be overwritten.

However, if you also select an empty field in the profile on the left and do the merging, it will not overwrite the corresponding field of the other profile which already has information in it.

Once you've set everything up, click the Save and Merge button in the middle.

By clicking on the button we will remind you that this process is irreversible. 


If you click on the Save and Merge option, the merging process will be completed.

If you select to Cancel, your changes will not be saved.

After you have successfully did the merging for some of the guest profiles we will display an extra section of the guest profile which was updated during the process. This section is called Merge history and it will be displayed in the bottom part of the page.
