You will receive a pop-up message reminding you about your expiring NTAK certification. It’s essential to renew your certification promptly, as NTAK submissions cannot be processed without a valid certificate.
If you receive this message that your NTAK certificates will expire soon or you notice in the Settings / NTAK settings the same then it is time to renew them! You can do this in a couple of easy steps following this guide. The process is really similar to the initial NTAK connection.
As per the NTAK system's new development, starting from 2023.05.08., you only need to generate 1 file (UNIFIED CERTIFICATE) and upload to our platform, and the expiration is changed from 1 year to 4 years.
First, let's open the Settings / NTAK settings menu of your SabeeApp account and scroll down to the part of the certificates. Here click on the Request for renewal of the certificate button.
We will show you a popup that contains important information about the further steps. Please read carefully and hit the OK button.
The system will download a .zip file to your device. Before opening it you need to uncompress it as it is a folder containing one .csr file. You will have to upload that to NTAK's platform.
The next step is to log in to your NTAK account. If you manage multiple companies, please make sure to look for the Szolgáltatók és szolgáltatási helyek menu, and click on the following button for the relevant company/private person where you would like to change the certificate. It is green with an arrow sign on it.
After that please go to the Szolgáltatási helyek menu. Here select your relevant accommodation and click on the Tanúsítványigénylés button.
Please make sure to choose the UNIFIED CERTIFICATE option. Then the system will take you to the next step, uploading the .csr file (which you dowloaded from SabeeApp). After uploading it to the NTAK platform, click on the generate button.
If you have completed everything correctly then you will find the new certificate in the table below. Please hit the Letöltés button to download the recently generated unified certificate.
To complete the next step, please go back to the Settings / NTAK settings menu of your SabeeApp account. Here please click on the Upload new certificate button.
After this, we will show you in a popup that the NTAK connection will be interrupted in order to allow you to upload the new certificates and renew your connection. Please select OK to continue.
Look for the certificate, you downloaded from NTAK and upload it to the grey area. You can do it with the drag and drop method.
After uploading the certificate the synchronization button becomes available for clicking (green). To reinitiate the connection please make sure to click on it.
If done correctly, the NTAK connection is renewed and the data forwarding works as usual. We will notify you about this in a popup window as well.
If the sync does not work and you receive an error message pop-up from the system, firstly, please double-check if all the given data is correct in the configuration table. After that, please click on the "Delete all files" button, then you can start the process all over again from the beginning (starting from generating new CSR file).
If you are using our Multi-NTAK module then you will have to renew the certificates as many times as many accounts you have. The certificates might expiry in different times.
If you do not renew your certifiactes and the connection then after the expiration date of the certificates SabeeApp will not be able to forward your data to NTAK even if your connection is active. It is always the property's responsibility to renew the certificates and in case SabeeApp cannot forward the data correctly to NTAK the possible legal consequences will fall on the responsibility of the property owner or manager as well.
