NUKI keycode based entry

Conditions to get the code

Checking-in via GuestAdvisor

  1. Reservation is checked-in
  2. Reservation is onboarded (not necessary in case the Auto-onboard feature is enabled)
  3. Reservation is in the earliest check-in/latest check-out time of the property (or there is an early check-in or late check-out registered)

If the above conditions are met, the Room access button in the GuestAdvisor mobile app will turn blue and the follwing screen will show the room name + the code to enter.

Checking-in via Customer portal

If your guests complete the check-in via the customer portal, they will get the code via an automated email. You can check the email from the Settings / Email templates / GAT templates menu.

Conditions to get the code via email:

  1. Reservation is checked-in
  2. Reservation gets the NUKI keycode email as scheduled (up to 5 days before arrival)

Please feel free to modify the email content in the above mentioned menu. You can also change the schedule of the email from Arrival date up to 5 days before arrival.

Reservation did not complete the online check-in but you would like to get a code for them

In some cases guests decide not to complete online check-in in advance which can be caused by multiple reasons. In this case, you can still generate keycodes for them.

  1. Go to the reservation page and mark the reservation as checked-in (and onboard if they've already arrived) from the top left side
  2. Open the lock tool from the right side menu and click Refresh access code

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Code generation will only happen if your locks are equipped with keypads and they are calibrated and ready to be opened. In any other case, the code generation will fail.
