NUKI Smartlock connection guide
This is our detailed guide how to connect your NUKI Smartlock(s) to SabeeApp. To be able to start the connection process you should have at least one NUKI Smartlock and NUKI Bridge and you have to activate the GuestAdvisor module in the Settings/Subscription menu.
Prerequisites
- Install Nuki Smart Lock and connect it to your smartphone by following the NUKI official setup manual.
- Install Nuki Bridge and get your Nuki Smart Lock connected to the Internet. Here you can find the NUKI Bridge installation guide. In case of NUKI 3.0 the bridge is integrated to your lock so please skip this step.
- Create a Nuki Web account to maintain your locks remotely. Click the "Register" link at the bottom-left corner and follow the instructions.
- Don't forget to register your lock(s) to the NUKI extranet! Without adding the locks to the NUKI web platform the locks cannot be managed online, therefore cannot be connected with SabeeApp either.
Guide to connect your Smart Lock to SabeeApp
- Log in to your NUKI web account
- Click on the API menu on the left side menu bar.
- Click on the Generate API token. You can customize the settings but we do recommend to leave them as they are as default.
- Give a name to the token and click Generate.
- IMPORTANT! Copy the generated token before closing this window and switching to SabeeApp. You won't be able to view again this token. In case you closed the window accidentally just generate a new token.
- Log in to your SabeeApp account and navigate to the Settings / Marketplace menu and click on on NUKI to start the connection.
- Please insert the API token you copied from Nuki Web, select Remote as Smartlock open type and click Save.
- Click the green Plus sign next to to the room where you installed the Smart Lock.
- Select the Smart Lock from the list which you want to assign to the room and then click Save
How to test if the connection was successfully?
- Create a Reservation for a room with a Smart Lock installed with the arrival date of today
- Open the Reservation in GuestAdvisor App
- Do the Online Check-in
- Do the PIN Verification
- Onboard the guest on SabeeApp
- Log out and then log in again to the reservation on the GuestAdvisor mobile application
- Room access icon should appear in the Quick menu
