Review reports

🎯 Report Objective

The Review Report provides insights into guest feedback collected through the Instant Feedback functionality of GuestAdvisor. It helps you track and analyze guest satisfaction on a monthly or yearly basis, allowing you to monitor trends and improve service quality.

📍 To access the reports, go to Reports / Front Office / Review, where both the monthly and yearly reports are available.


📅 Reviews by Year

This report includes a 📆 year selector and a 🔄 Generate button. By default, it displays the current year. If you select a different year, press Generate to update the report.

📊 Key Insights:

  • 📉 The chart shows average scores per month for different questions.

  • 📖 More details about scoring can be found in our Instant Feedback article.

  • 📝 Below the chart, you will find all feedback submitted for the selected year.

  • 🏠 The next section shows the average performance of housekeepers, based on the "How clean was your room?"question.

  • 🛎️ A similar summary is available for Hosts/ Receptionists, based on the "How did you like our staff so far?" question.


📆 Reviews by Month

This report provides a detailed daily performance overview for a selected month. It includes a 📆 year selector, a 📅 month selector, and a 🔄 Generate button. If you change the month or year, press Generate to refresh the report.

📊 Key Insights:

  • 📉 The chart displays daily average scores for the selected month.

  • 📝 Below the chart, you can view all submitted reviews for that month.

  • 📊 The report also includes the average daily ratings for housekeepers and hosts.

  • 🏠 Scores for housekeepers come from "How clean was your room?", while 🛎️ host scores are based on "How did you like our staff so far?".


🚪 Room Type Considerations

  • 🚫 If a Room Type is marked as removed from occupancy, feedback from guests who stayed in those rooms will not appear in the reports.

  • ✅ If a room or room type is deleted, past reservation feedback will still be included in the reports.


📤 Export & Additional Features

📑 Report Exporting:

  • Reports can be 📊 exported to Excel, 📄 saved as PDF, or 🖨️ printed in different languages.

📋 Empty Tables:

  • 🏠 "Housekeepers" and 🛎️ "Hosts" tables disappear if they have no data.

  • 📝 The "Feedbacks" table remains visible but will display an empty state message.

📈 Widgets & Graphs:

  • 📊 Appear only if the "Feedbacks" table contains data.

  • 🏆 Widgets calculate average scores from the "Feedbacks" table.

🔍 Search Functionality:

  • 🔄 Data updates only after pressing the Generate button.

  • 📌 When searching for a reservation, only relevant data appears in the Housekeeping and Host tables.
