Unified Inbox's main purpose is to centralise the guest communication with the Airbnb guests into your SabeeApp account.
Unified Inbox module collects and shows the incoming emails and SMS messages from the guests from Airbnb and just as easily you have the possibility to reply to them from this inbox.
How to enable the module:
In order to start using the Unified Inbox module, all you need to do is to navigate to Settings / Subscription menu. Then, enable the toggle for activating the Unified Inbox.
After Activating the Unified Inbox Module
Once the module is activated, a new icon will appear in the top-right corner of the menu bar.
Next Steps
Depending on your current setup, follow one of these two scenarios:
Scenario 1: You already have an active synchronisation between Airbnb and SabeeApp
- Go to Distribution > Channel Manager > Connected Channels > Airbnb.
- Scroll down to the Host Authorization section.
- Click the Connect Unified Inbox to Airbnb button next to your host ID.
- You’ll be redirected to Airbnb.
- Sign in to your Airbnb account.
- By signing in, you’ll allow SabeeApp to manage messaging via the Unified Inbox.
Important:
- Repeat these steps for each host ID where you want to enable the Unified Inbox.
Scenario 2: You do not have an active synchronisation between Airbnb and SabeeApp
- Complete the connection process between SabeeApp and Airbnb first.
- Refer to the GUIDE in this help article.
- If the Unified Inbox module is already enabled, it will be connected to Airbnb automatically during the setup process.
Important note: you will start receiving messages from the moment on, you connected your SabeeApp account with Airbnb. There is no possibility to import messages or historical data, before the establishment of the connection with Airbnb.
Functions of the Unified Inbox:
1. Search Bar: Search by guest name or the content of messages
2. Filters: Easily browse messages by: Reservation Status, Message Type, Message Status
3. Sort Function: Sort messages by time order for easier navigation.

Guest Profile Picture:
- Displays the guest’s profile picture.
- If unavailable, it will show the first letters of their first and last name.

Message Status Indicators:
- Green dot: A new unread message.
- Yellow dot: The last message was sent by you.
- No dot: The guest sent the last message, and there has been no response from your side.

Guest Name and Message Preview:
- Displays the guest’s name and the first two lines of their message.

Hashtags in the Filter Bar:
- Default hashtags are used for filtering messages.
- Note: Custom hashtags cannot be created.

Last Interaction Date:
- Shows the date of your most recent interaction with the guest.
Structure of the messages:
- Conversation Controls: At the top of the conversation, you can:

- Close the conversation: You can still search for the thread later.
- Delete the conversation: This action is permanent and only affects the Unified Inbox in SabeeApp. The thread will remain in your Airbnb extranet.

Guest Information: On the right-hand side of the conversation window, view:

- The guest’s contact details.
- Their booking details.

Message Source and Time: The text “Via Airbnb” under the message box indicates:

- The source of the message.
- The time it was sent.

4. Message Tools

Message Templates and Attachments: In the bottom-left corner:

- Use the leaflet icon to select message templates.
- Use the clip icon to attach files.

- Special Offers: You can send a Special Offer to your guest by clicking the button (this is only available if the guest made a reservation).
- Note: This option appears only, if the guest made a reservation. In case of inquiry type of reservation.
- Sending a special offer you can modify:
- Room type
- Dates
- Number of guests
- The guest has 24 hours to respond to the offer. If they don’t reply within that time, the offer will be automatically rejected.
