All accommodations established in Hungary must be registered with NTAK (National Tourism Data Supply Centre) to comply with the data reporting obligation.

03. Accommodation rating
All providers of short term rentals in Hungary must conduct a self-assessment of their listings for the number of stars and register accordingly on THIS website. After the registration, the Quality Certification Board will do an on-site inspection and issue a confirmatory rating certification.
No fees are incurred for the first inspection, and the rating needs to be reviewed every three years.

04. Artisjus, music royalty
Music played in common areas and/or in rooms is subject to royalties paid to Artisjus. The royalty is calculated by adding up the fees for different types of spaces, taking into account occupancy rates.

The registration process takes place electronically on the NTAK Portal. To complete the registration, you need the customer gateway login data, company registration data and the following accommodation information: name, KSH ID number, registration number, address, capacity data, operating licence number and a PMS provider's name.
